Getting Started with #sketchnotes at #ISTE2016

In an attempt to travel light to ISTE in Denver, CO, I began exploring options to take notes digitally.
I didn't want to be weighed down with devices and notebooks.
I decided to look for notetaking apps for my iPad Mini4.
I tried a couple different programs, but the one that I think will work for me is Noteshelf by Fluid Touch Pte. Ltd.
I liked the app because you can create separate customized notebooks to record all your ideas. There are a variety of paper styles to choose from too; blank paper, lined paper, and graph paper, as well as templates for projects, meeting notes, and Cornel notes.
For more artistic and illustrated "sketchnotes" I downloaded the apps, Bamboo Paper and Sketches II to use.
I will be playing with these new-to-me tools during the #ISTE2016 conference and posting.
My hope is that at the end of the conference I have an organized set of notes that I can bring home to reference for myself, and share with my peers. The other thing I like about these apps is that I can share out a snapshot of my notes to my twitter followers!
Here is an example of my notes from Round One of the ISTE Ignite Series in which 12 different presenters has exactlly 5 minutes and 20 slides to capture our attention and inspire us.
I am still getting used to writing with a stylus ;)

What programs are your favorite for keeping track of your notes and staying organized?
